Our History
A Lifelong Calling
My name is Bhanu Bhatti, and my passion for healthcare blossomed in my primary school days. The profound satisfaction of helping a child with disabilities at just 11 years old ignited a lifelong flame within me. From caring for people in a retirement home to assisting therapists at 16, every step solidified my calling.
Early experiences in care settings further fuelled this passion, leading me to become an Occupational Therapist specialising in sensory processing, autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, understanding mental health, wellbeing of older adults, and carrying out Deprivation of Liberty assessments.
Witnessing the unique challenges faced by individuals inspired me to create Uniq in 2019.
Today, Uniq thrives as a supportive community, empowering countless individuals in Berkshire to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.
Our dedicated team of professionals provides unlimited, nurturing, and individualised care, tailored to each person’s unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of personalised services, including up to 24-hour care.

Our dedicated support teams receive specialised training in Positive Behavioural Support and/or PROACT-SCIPr-UK® as needed, empowering them to foster independence and safety for our clients within the least restrictive environments possible.

We prioritise continuous development through comprehensive training programs, keeping our staff updated on the latest best practices. Our internal well-being officer and external HR support ensure our team members are both skilled and well-supported.
